Sinopse: Após a morte da princesa Diana, a rainha da Inglaterra, Elizabeth II (Helen Mirren), se vê diante de um impasse: ela terá de lutar contra velhas tradições reais se não quiser perder o carinho de seu povo. O primeiro-ministro Tony Blair (Michael Sheen), recém-eleito na época da tragédia, terá a difícil missão de mudar a visão da rainha, que não aceita as divergentes e modernas opiniões de Blair, principalmente em relação às providências que deve tomar para o funeral de Lady Di.
Synopsis: After the death of Princess Diana, Queen of England Elizabeth II (Helen Mirren) is faced with a dilemma: she'll have to fight real old traditions if you do not lose the affection of his people.
